Description:The TravelPilot DX-V is the top-of-the-line Blaupunkt navigation system. Packed with high tech features, yet easy to operate, this unit has proved itself time and again as a reliable travel partner. Highly precise, intelligent route guidance means that a navigation system is not only an advantage in your car; it can also improve quality of life by significantly reducing stress and cutting costs. TravelPilot route guidance is based on the data received by a GPS satellite receiver, the speedometer signal and the integrated gyroscope. The navigation computer processes this information and constantly compares it to the digital CD-ROM map. As a result the TravelPilot is not only able to locate your current position in seconds, it also integrates the dynamic traffic information provided by the Traffic Message Channel* into its route planning. (*only in countries where TMC data is available free of charge and with a TMC ready CD). Route options can be inputted into the system. Generously sized pictograms support the spoken route guidance. Driving recommendations can be identified at a glance. If desired, additional information on parking, petrol stations, tourist attractions, etc. can be added to the coloured map. The multimedia package comprises the TravelPilot DX-V, motorised flip out 6.5 inch wide screen TV tuner with touch screen functionality and FM-AM tuner. Precise and intelligent route guidance combined with the ultimate in entertainment. |
