The Clarion NAX9500E CPU Hybrid Navigation System is a fully-featured GPS navigation unit, with voice guidance in English, French or German and both 2d and 3d view modes. A 32-bit CPU, 8mb of D-RAM and a double-speed drive keep the NAX9500E up to speed, and also included is a remote control, a GPS antenna, and a cd-rom.

VRX938R:
Clarions VRX938R is the upgrade of last year’s 918R and now has even more output at a whopping 4 x 48W. Ever-versatile, the VRX938R has the option of connecting a TV Tuner, DVD, DAB and Sat Nav, to boost an already impressive range of functions, which include video, tuner, CD, MD and a fully motorised crystal clear 7” touch-screen monitor

Z-Enhancer Plus
Same functions as standard Z-Enhancer, but in addition, all units with “Z-Enhancer Plus” are designed for 2-band parametric equalisation. Z-Enhancer Plus provides easy-to-operate tone correction for dynamic expansion to bring you a crisp, powerful bass and fresh, crystal-clear treble with 2 parametric settings. In addition, three types of sound quality patterns are preset for easy selection.

Parametric EQ
Parametric EQ lets you adjust the equalisation of each frequency band.

Loop Back Circuit
Allows the built-in amp to amplify the signal from an external unit. It is possible to connect the DVH923 for 5.1-channel surround sound or the DVH913 to enjoy DSP sound without an external amp.

Network Connection
With its Ce NET, Clarion was the first on the market to offer a control unit with a 16-bit CPU and a data transfer speed of 17 kbps. This high-speed bus optimises the interplay of all Clarion components containing a “Z” in the model name. Connection is fast and simple by means of a serial cable (cascading). Ce NET’s high data transfer rate allows control of interactive applications such as a DAB or TV tuner. The functions of the attached units are easily controlled from the main unit.

Audio Output
Audio outputs for external amplifiers. Units with the 4 V output logo have high 4 V audio output for high-quality sound. In addition, some Clarion units have Non-fade output for a subwoofer, and also a selectable Loop Back Circuit for the hide-away dts/Dolby Digital & Dolby Pro Logic II Decoder DVH923 or the Digital Sound Field Processor DPH913.

CD-R
Indicates the capability to play back CD-R audio discs you have recorded at home. CD-R/RW Playback : You can burn your own CD-R/RW discs on a PC or disc recorder and count on being able to play and enjoy them in your car, on your Clarion.

CD-Text
Allows readout of title and artist from a CD. For technical reasons, not all CDs are compatible with CD Text.

RDS (Radio Data System)
Clarion’s expanded RDS receiver offers all basic reception functions with efficient switching to other broadcast frequencies when the signal deteriorates or for programme interruptions by traffic announcements or PTY switching. This enables station search for specific programme types (e.g. news and music styles). EON (Enhanced Other Networks) is a useful further development of the Radio Data System. This function switches to important announcements, even when they’re being transmitted by another station.

Retractable Monitor
The VRX928RVD and VRX938R feature a 7" TFT monitor in 16:9 cinema format with Automatic opening/closing.

Detachable Control Panel
As the unit cannot operate without its front panel, this feature serves as a deterrent to thieves. An additional flashing LED draws attention to this feature while the vehicle is parked.

DVD/CD Control
All units with this logo are designed for connection to a CD/DVD changer. The changer is connected via Ce NET and controlled from the main unit.

DAB Control
Digital Audio Broadcasting is the radio reception system of the future. All units with this logo are designed for connection and complete control of the external Clarion hide-away DAB tuner DAH923 or DAH913 via Ce NET.

TV Control
Designed for TV reception. The TV tuner is connected via Ce NET and controlled from the base unit.

DSP/EQ Control
Designed for control of the Digital Sound Field Processor DPH913.
