Description:The Followit Locator is an extremely versatile GPS / GSM tracking system with a variety of built-in programs which can be administrated through a mobile phone or PC. - GPS / GSM positioning / tracking The Locator will send its position and provide a wide range of additional information by SMS to a GSM mobile phone. Using street level mapping software on a PC the latitude and longitude can be converted to find its exact position to within a few metres. Alternatively, the Locator can communicate with a GSM phone connected to a PC and automatically show its position at street level and perform many other useful functions on demand. A panic button is provided on the side of the Locator to send an “emergency” text with its position, time and date stamp. The Locator requires a SIM card which can be “pay as you go” or an annual contract depending on how frequently the user wants to send and receive messages. The Vehicle Locator is supplied with a combined GPS/GSM antenna, 12 VDC power adaptor module and cable for connection to the vehicle battery. The following functions may be programmed remotely by SMS or via a PC: - Define time interval and number of regular position reports.
