If you want to use your GPS receiver in a location with poor / restricted GPS reception and you dont have an external antenna option on the receiver, a re-radiating antenna is the answer.

A re-radiating antenna consists of a high sensitivity external antenna which should be located in a position with an unobstructed view of the sky connected by a cable to a second antenna which re-radiates the GPS signals locally to the GPS receiver.

The RA-45 has a re-radiating range of 45cm which is ideal for in-car and home use.

Includes receiving antenna with 3m cable, 12V cigarette lighter adaptor and indoor re-radiating antenna.

Supply Voltage:12V DC unregulated via cigarette lighter adaptor (included).

Cars fitted with athermic coated windscreens will normally reduce / block GPS signals to a receiver mounted on the dashboard.

If you experience poor GPS reception inside the vehicle and good reception outside the vehicle we advise that you check your vehicle documents or your franchise dealer for confirmation.
