The Origin blue i is a speed camera warning system that will warn the driver of all FIXED SPEED TRAPS in plenty of time and with no false alarms.
 
The unit itself is a small box (slightly larger than a packet of cigarettes) which the user easily installs into any vehicle and is powered via the cigarette lighter. By using the latest available technology, the Origin blue i has raised speed trap detection to a new level:
 
- Origin blue i features GPS (Global Positioning System) satellite technology
- Over 4000 fixed speed traps stored in integral database
- Speed trap database/software may be updated using supplied modem
- No false alarms
- Backlit LCD screen display
- Voice alerts
- Keeps you aware of the prevailing speed limit, reducing the risk of a £60 fine and three points on your licence (minimum)
 
Each Origin blue i unit may be updated to include all the new and latest speed trap locations as often as you desire via the supplied modem (the first six months are free; thereafter £50 annually). The database is stored at an ISP (Internet Service Provider) and access to it is via a local call rate (0845) number.
 
With the Origin blue i you won't have to spend most of the time looking for cameras at the side of the road and watching your speedometer. You will be free to concentrate on the most important thing - watching the road and other road users. You will be warned automatically if you enter an accident blackspot area where the police have deemed it necessary to site a camera.
